Meet Jim.
Old-house Enthusiast. Renovator. Preservationist at Heart.
I've always believed that old homes have a certain magic about them. Maybe it's the beautifully worn hardwood floors, the intricate millwork, the perfectly imperfect details, or simply knowing that generations of people have walked through the same rooms before us.
Whatever it is, I've always been drawn to places with a story. And this is mine.

My journey into old-home restoration began with an appreciation for historic architecture and a desire to see beautiful houses preserved rather than replaced.
Eventually, that passion led me to the restoration of an 1888 Queen Anne Victorian in Scranton, Pennsylvania, a home filled with extraordinary architectural details and more projects than I could have imagined. It was an experience that deepened my appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, taught me more than any textbook ever could, and reminded me just how rewarding it can be to breathe new life into something old.
Today, Jones Revival is entering a new chapter.
With a new home, a fresh perspective, and another restoration ahead, I'm continuing to pursue what I love: uncovering the potential in overlooked spaces and thoughtfully blending the charm of yesterday with the comforts of today.
I'm not interested in making old homes look brand new. I'm interested in helping them feel like the best versions of themselves.
Through Jones Revival, I share the real process — the planning, the progress, the mistakes, the victories, and the countless decisions that go into transforming a house.
I've also developed a particular love for wallpaper and the way it can completely change the feeling of a room. That passion has grown into offering wallpaper installation services, helping others introduce color, pattern, and character into their own homes.

Whether you're here for renovation inspiration, a shared love of historic homes, or help with your next wallpaper project, I'm glad you found your way here.
Here's to beautiful old houses,
new beginnings, and everything
still waiting to be revived.
